All artists MUST submit a BOOTH PHOTO in the online application in addition to photos of what you wish to sell at your booth. All items MUST be HANDMADE; prints of the artist's original work are permitted.
Resale items are NOT permitted.
June 22: CAR + ART SHOW SUBMISSION DEADLINE: MAY 1, 2023 AT 3PM
Location: Central Green, in front of Fishers City Hall, 1 Municipal Drive, Fishers
Load In: Exact time TBD (possibly from 3pm-4:30pm)
Event: 6:00pm-9:00pm
Load Out: 9:00pm-10:00pm
Booth Fee for Artist Vendors: $20
There is NO application fee. Vendors pay their booth fee AFTER they are notified of acceptance into the fair.
Who can submit: Arts, Crafts, Handmade Goods
Highly recommend for arts/crafts that reflect classic and muscle cars
What is Required/Additional Information
All vendors must supply their own tent/canopy (any color). Umbrellas are not permitted. All canopies must have 40 lb. weight per leg due to winds. No staking into city property. (If you don't have weights,FAC recommends water softener salt bags. Jugs of water are NOT acceptable.)
All vendors must supply their own table/display materials and be able to process your own sales.
Electricity is NOT available. Wifi is NOT available.
Vendors will be able to drive up nearby their booth space to unload, but must park elsewhere after load-in. Details will be provided upon acceptance.
In the event you need to cancel your participation after paying your booth fee, we will refund fifty percent (50%) of your booth fee if your written notice of cancellation is received by the Fishers Arts Council at info@fishersartscouncil.org on or before Friday, June 3, 2023.

https://kasinomaksut.com caught my attention while I was thinking through the vendor logistics, since comparing payment options beforehand is the kind of prep that saves headaches at events like this. The detail about needing 40 pounds of weight per leg really stands out, because I've watched a canopy go sideways on a breezy day and it's not something you want to learn the hard way. Requiring a booth photo also seems smart, since how you display handmade work tells you a lot about whether it fits a car-themed show.
Comment AND Question…My wife and I did music for car shows for many years, and once I got her set up and playing, I’d cruise through the cars taking photos and drawing cars that caught my eye; after a while, the car owners wanted me to sketch their cars for them… So grew Dr. Woolys’ Garage Art. My question ( I now realize that it’s way too late for entering as an artist, but…) is it possible to just walk up through the field of cars to take photos and draw? It’s a heck of a lot cheaper than therapy…Just love being around the cars and the people who drive them. Thanks; Dave Wooldridge
