About the Event
Due to popular demand, Fishers Arts Council will again open The Art Gallery at City Hall from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 4th for our Winter Wonderland of Art (inside) in conjunction with the city of Fishers Tree Lighting & Winter Wonderland (outside).
At the Gallery you can enjoy the art, most of which is for sale, and you can shop for holiday gifts - all hand-made by local artists and artisans. There will be at least 15 local artists and artisans demonstrating, displaying, and selling their work in-person and online. Additionally, we'll have Make & Take Art Classes available in Alcohol Ink and Weaving (for a small fee) to create your own unique piece of art to take home or give as a gift*. This event is made possible by the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
Alcohol Ink Teacher: Aimee Bruno
Weaving Arts Teacher: Staff from Tabby Tree Weaver
Avoid the malls and the crowds! Make this a holiday to remember as you support and learn from your local Fishers Artists and Artisans.

*Create Your Own Art: this interactive art session will be open to 10 participants at a time. Each session starts on the half hour and will last roughly 30 minutes. There is no cost to participate. Children are welcome with the assistance of an adult. Sessions are filled on a first come, first serve basis.
All of our artists will have a typed description of their medium and what they are demonstrating - in case you want to keep notes or for those who cannot hear. We will also have tactile experiences for those who want to touch or have visual impairments.
If you'd like to request an audio interpreter, please reach out to us via facebook or email so that we can make that happen for you! (Deadline for interpretation request is 11/12/21.) Email us at info (at) FishersArtsCouncil (dot) org
