Nickel Plate Arts Mural Camp Sponsored by Flexware Innovations


WHO: Artists ages 13-18


WHERE: Flexware Innovations, 12 Municipal Drive, Fishers


WHEN: July 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 and 3; 9 a.m.-12 p.m. each day


COST: $50 per student

Here is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for teens to learn about public art and create their own murals! This summer camp will take place at the new Flexware Innovations Building in Fishers, where students will get to design and install their own murals! Participating students will work with award-winning muralist and HSE graduate Koda Witsken to design murals, pitch their designs to the building owners, and install the designs Flexware’s 10 restrooms.


The camp takes place on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, July 15-31 from 9 am to noon and will meet at the Flexware Innovations building each day.  The final day of the camp, July 31st, may include a reception and/or tour for parents (depending upon social distancing restrictions).


Students should arrive prepared to learn, draw, and paint, and should wear clothing appropriate to painting and physical work. As complete schedule of camp activities will be provided on the first day of camp.


Social distancing will be observed throughout the camp and face masks will be required. Face masks will be provided to students who are unable to provide their own.
