Entry Fees: Non-Student $25 for single entry; $35 for two entries (max allowed) Student $10 for single entry; $15 for two entries (max allowed) All entries are to be submitted with the understanding that accepted work may be photographed or videotaped for education & publicity purposes. All Accepted images may be included on the Fishers Arts Council website and social media.
Artists must be current or former residents of Hamilton County, or currently reside within two (2) miles of the Hamilton County border. All entries are to be submitted with the understanding that accepted work may be photographed or videotaped for educational and publicity purposes. All accepted artworks may be included on the Fishers Arts Council website and social media platforms. The following 2D mediums are eligible to enter: watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, pencil, charcoal, ink, and mixed media that incorporates at least one of these mediums. The following 3D mediums are eligible to enter, provided they do not require installation: wood, glass, clay, metal/bronze, and textile. All 2D entries must be suitably presented for hanging. All 3D entries must be able to be hung in the gallery or self-supported or table-top supported with its own display stand.
NOTE: No work that has WON AWARDS in any JURIED show in Indiana will be accepted. This includes competitions such as the Indiana State Fair, SALI, IAC, IHA, WSI, and Hoosier Salon. In addition, no work completed in a workshop and under the supervision of an instructor will be accepted. All work must be original. Works from photographs must have written consent from the photographer.

Digital Image Requirements 1. Image may be up to 300 dpi. PNG and JPEG files accepted. File should not exceed 4MB. 2. No digital enhancement is allowed. 3. Image must match the artwork submitted. 4. The image must be oriented correctly (vertical or horizontal). 5. Save the image with your name, as Entry “A” or Entry “B” 2025, with the work's title. For example: smith-jordinA2025flower.jpg. The title of the work must match your entry form. Online Form 1. Fill out the form completely. 2. Upload your image(s) with the appropriate file name(s) as indicated above. 3. Online submission & payment must be received before image is processed.

Rules 1. The Juried Show competition is open to current and former residents of Hamilton County, Indiana or those living within two (2) miles of the Hamilton County border. Artist may submit either one (1) or two (2) entries with the proper entry fees. Both pieces are eligible for entry if both are selected by the juror. 2. No diptychs, triptychs, or installation works will be accepted. 3. All entries must be the original concept and execution of the artist and made within the last year or within 365 days of September 1, 2025. No copies of paintings or original works. No copies of published photographs accepted unless written permission is granted by the photographer. 4. No AI created or 3D printed work will be accepted. 5. No work produced in a class or under tutelage of an instructor will be accepted. 6. For 2D works the upper size limitation is 48” in any direction including frame. No exceptions. All 2D work must be framed as appropriate for the medium of the art. Plexiglas is preferred for all traditionally framed artwork and is required if metal frames are used. A simple gallery-quality frame is highly recommended. A white or neutral mat is strongly recommended when appropriate to the medium. For 3D work, as long as it is self-supported, and can be moved by staff on a wheeled cart, it can be up to 6’ tall and weigh up to 75 lbs. 7. 2D works with raw/unfinished edges will not be accepted. Items that show damage or wear to the gallery wrapped edges or frame, or which have dirty frames or glass, may not be accepted. We reserve the right to reject any piece due to its condition or framing. A refund, less processing fees, will be given for any rejected work.
8. For 2D works, all works must be wired for hanging. Saw tooth hangers will not be accepted.
9. Titles and prices will be listed as they appear on the entry forms. No changes will be made after entry forms are received.
10. No further work can be done on a 2D or 3D piece once it is accepted. The work will not be accepted if it is different from the original image submitted. Social Security Number May Be Required If entrant receives $600 or more in sales and/or awards per year from the Fishers Arts Council, the Entrant agrees to provide his/her Social Security Number on a W-9 form to Fishers Arts Council upon request for the purpose of the council’s tax return. Awards As this time Fishers Arts Council will award the following cash prizes: $1,000 Best of Show, $600 Best Landscape, $600 Best Portrait/Figurative, $600 Best Abstract, $600 Best Floral/Other, $600 Best 3D, and $250 People’s Choice. Sales All sales will be conducted through Fishers Arts Council, which will facilitate contact between the artist and the purchaser. Fishers Arts Council will retain a 20% commission from the sale and will collect, report, and pay all sales tax.
Risk Fishers Arts Council representatives will exercise diligent and reasonable care, but they will NOT be responsible for any loss or damage to any work. Broken glass must be replaced by the artist. By signing the entry form, the artist assumes all risks.
ART TAG MUST BE FASTENED TO THE BACK OF YOUR ACCEPTED 2D WORK OR UNDER YOUR 3D WORK WHEN YOU SUBMIT IT FOR JUDGING.
