In early 2019, FAC board member and mixed media artist Olivia Holt felt that something was missing in Hamilton County - information for artists to help them become entrepreneurs. While we have many established artists in Fishers and Hamilton County, there are always those who want to grow, connect with their community, and share their art. After surveying artists and community members over the course of half a year, Olivia found what they wanted: marketing help, community connections, getting into galleries, and more. With this feedback, Olivia developed her program for 2020.

While COVID taught us how to work a Zoom webinar, the artist attendees of our 2020 ASSET panels asked us for more details, more actionable steps, and more information. After compiling all of those requests, Olivia created a new series of panels for 2021.

FAC has partnered with Nickel Plate Arts and Hub & Spoke Design Center to bring you ASSET for 2021.  The lecture series is designed as panels with experienced members of the community giving artists (and everyone) the tools they need to succeed - plus you'll get to ask the questions you've always wanted, in an open, classroom-type setting.

Each session will be limited to 30 in-person participants and registration is required. Sessions are open to all ages and skill levels. CDC guidelines will be followed at each session, based on what is current at the time. For April, masks will be required and social distancing will be enforced in our seating area.

Virtual attendees will be connected via Zoom to the live event. Session materials will be emailed in advance and attendees questions will be answered during the session by the speaker(s).
