An Unlikely Start to Art

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and we thought it would be helpful to list a couple of events planned by local businesses. Feel free to leave a comment of an event you are aware of and we may add it to the list.

SYNOPSIS
The play opens with the Kittridges saying simultaneously, “I want a divorce!” Both are conceited and rightly so: Colin is a successful humor columnist and Frances an equally successful romance novelist.

Fishers resident Elizabeth Ahlgrim once thought she was in love with the piano, but after a date with the harp ten years ago… she discovered love at first sight.

The Fishers Renaissance Faire announced today that it will hold a series of auditions starting in February 2010 for people interested in performing at the 6th annual Fishers Renaissance Faire.

The Fishers Arts Council will feature a different local artist on its website, www.fishersartscouncil.org, each month in 2010. Local actors, dancers, musicians, painters, writers and other artists are encouraged to apply online.

McCordsville native Jack Jordan may only be a senior at Hamilton Southeastern High School but he has been playing music for more than a decade. Although he started with the piano and guitar, he now plays all the instruments when he goes in-studio for his recordings.

It all started with a Christmas present. A shiny new camera from husband to wife. A Digital SLR, to be exact. That’s all it took for Fishers resident Katherine Scheele to become hooked on photography.
