Brian Paffen has a zeal for the arts, health and wellness, and green living. With his business, Herbal Arts, he is able to combine all three.

“My passion and education for art has helped others learn about the importance of health & wellness. I feel that through my art and my dedication to health and wellness, I can feel good about promoting a product and passing on my skills to others.”
Brian’s Honey and Shea Everyday line combines natural and organic ingredients, including distilled water, aloe, herbs, natural oils and vitamin E, to create personal care products – soaps, skincare products and a new wedding line. His products are gluten free, paraben free, and use no animal by-products.

“I personally have developed, designed, and created my own brand, “Honey & Shea” which is produced locally in Fishers, applying advanced soap-casting techniques. My craftsmanship does not end here. I also apply endless hours into packaging, labeling, and ensuring that our customers can gain honest and complete information about our naturals.”
Brian buys his herbs from local, organic farmers and uses recycled paper in his packaging. His commitment to Green goes beyond his own product line. Herbal Arts participates in Green Fundraising, a new way for youth groups, schools and sports leagues to raise money while supporting local, sustainable businesses.
As for his spare time, Brian laughs, “What spare time?”
In reality, Brian leaves plenty of time for friends, family and his community, remaining an active volunteer through the Fishers Chamber of Commerce. When he can, he takes in sporting events, travels and, of course, tends to his gardens.
